Here's a story of a girl,
Living in the lonely world,
A hidden note, A secret crush,
A little boy who talks too much.
Well, I'm standing in the crowd,
And when you smile I check you out,
But you don't even know my name,
You're too busy playing games,
And I want you too know,
If you lose your way,
I won't let you go.
If I cut my hair,
If I change my clothes,
Will you notice me?
If I bite my lip,
If I say hello,
Will you notice me?

the beauty of imperfection
Well, inspired by Pat pats post about
"the beauty of imperfection. Nope can't find it!". I decided to blog bout the beauty of imperfection too. This is not meant to be personal kay (: I still <3 you pat!
"Perfection is more than beautiful.
Change your imperfections, and set your sights on something greater than yourself.
You won’t know what you might be, but at least you know you’ll be more than you are now."
As I've said and I still believe:
Perfection is nice, but in a person, PERFECT IS BORING!The imperfection in a person is what makes a person unique.
There are habits to change, but not all habits are imperfection.
If everyone is perfect, then no one would be perfect.
How do you measure perfectness anyway?
In inches? In litres? Do you come out with a standard of perfection?
Rule #1: perfect hair, nails and teeth; messy hair, dirty nails [X]
Rule #2: perfect up to date dressing; tshirt and shirts, old huge dorky glasses [X]
Rule #3: perfect speech, grammar and language; bad english, funny accent [X]
Rule #4: perfect behaviour, no undesired little antics; lateness, laziness, procrastination [X]
Is that perfect? If that's perfect, soon you'll see a whole lot of people in the street with perfect glossy hair, guys cropped short, girls long and wavy, shiny straight whittened teeth, trimmed, buffed nails; because it's the perfect look. No antics that draw your attention to a person. Soon you'll see a street full of perfect but people that look the same, people that seem to have lost their personality trying to achieve perfection.
If by perfect, people follow the set of rules that is deem by the public to be the one set of rules that are faultless, would you be happy following them?
I'm not saying that you should be happy and contented with your seven deadly sins(lust, gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, envy, pride), imperfection may not be good, but if you can minimize your imperfection, why try to erase the thing that makes you human? Imagine someone without all those. To me it's kinda scary. You strive to be a better human, but a perfect human is something else.
Hmmm... after typing everything on my mind out, I'm not sure whether I'm still on the same topic as pat, but the main point is, your post inspired this post la. so, happy thinking or whatever. Going off to bed! Nights everyone!!
